SHIPPING LIMITS & WEIGHT COMPLIANCE:
- Maximum weight: No limit for B2B Shipments and 20Kg per shipment for B2C Shipments.
- Maximum value of shipment up to 50K (in case of B2C).
- Weight Calculation: Dead weight or Volumetric, whichever is higher
DISPUTE MANAGEMENT & EVIDENCE:
- Please capture images and video while packing to avoid forward / RTO delivery disputes
- Do not ship any prohibited items given in the article SOP - Prohibited Items
- Weight disputes concerns should be responded to via email within 48 hours from the time of the Weight discrepancy mail raised by the KloudShip accounts team & if no seller response is received within the timeline, then it will be considered auto acceptance by the seller, and no action will be taken afterwards
WEIGHT FREEZE ON RETURNS
Businesses who do high volume returns are often bothered by the packaging used by their customers. Weight Freeze is a special shipping benefit offered to such eligible high-volume sellers. Under this policy, freight charges are calculated only on the Dead Weight of the shipment, and Volumetric Weight is not considered.
There are multiple slabs in the Weight Freeze policy, e.g.
- 0.5 KG for small items like CDs, Instruction Manuals, etc
- 5.0 KG for small electronics items like Game Controller, Camera, etc.
- 10 KG for medium-sized electronic items like PlayStation consoles
For example, if the actual (dead) weight of a game control is 2.5 Kg, and a return shipment is created using 5 KG weight slab, then even if customer is returning it in a box whose volumetric weight exceeds 5KG then shipper will be billed for for 5KG only .
If the selected weight slab is 5kg and the dead weight is greater than 5 kg, then the higher weight (Volumetric/Dead) will be charged as usual.
